The CLA Board has been working hard to find ways to clean up Crockery Lake. We know there are some solutions available but we are not sure which ones are Best Management Practices (BMP). By doing our research we were introduced to Dr. Jennifer Jones, owner of Restorative Lake Sciences.
https://restorativelakesciences.com/ We have had several conversations with her and she strongly suggested a thorough testing of the lake, including the 2 deep basins. Through a donation from very generous person who loves our lake, we were able to not only have the testing done but get an engineer certified Feasibility Study done as well. Attached is the document with the results of the testing and her proposed options to begin fixing the lake. Bear in mind that these are proposals and the CLA Board has not committed to anything yet. This would involve having all of our lake residents (riparians) involved in the decision making.
At our next CLA Board meeting on April 26, 2023, Dr. Jones will be our main speaker and will answer any questions you may have about the study.
